Lavender is my favorite scent! Today—comparing two lavender moods—Farmhouse Lavender and Lavender Snowfall. One cozy morning. In this calm Sunday review, I’m comparing how each scent fills the room, from soft herbal notes to the comforting creamy finish Goose Creek does so well. Perfect for an easy start to the day or winding down the weekend.

Happy Sunday morning. Today was supposed to be a Halloween review, but I kind of got the feeling that maybe we’ve already seen a little too many Halloween reviews, so I said we’re just going to bring it down today. We’re going to just relax and make it a lavender Sunday. I love lavender.
We have Farmhouse Lavender and Lavender Snowfall. Farmhouse Lavender is burning behind me right now. That one is a little spicy—actually, kind of a little more than a little spicy—it’s a spicy lavender.
For the first 40 minutes or so it was a nice, balanced scent. A little spice, a little lavender, and they gelled well together. About the two-hour mark, the lavender was more a background note and there was more of the spice. The scent notes are dried lavender bundles, white pumpkin, and farmhouse spice.
I knew going in, when I saw farmhouse spice, I thought ‘pumpkin spice.’ I remember how I felt about the Pecan Pumpkin Waffles candle and how it was a little too spicy, so I had a little pause, but I said I’ll give it a try because I like trying new things. I was glad, I mean when I lit it, it really smelled balanced. I probably wouldn’t light it for more than two hours because then that’s when the spice starts to kick in. It has a touch of vanilla and like something woody underneath, which smells really good. The throw is about a seven; it would definitely fill a mid-sized space. I didn’t have any issues with the performance of the candle, the wicks, or anything. It smelled really good.
And then, on the other side of the scale, we have Lavender Snowfall, which is a completely different mood. Such a good scent. You know I love my lavender if you’ve been here. The scent notes are lavender, fallen snow, peppermint, and woods with natural essential oils. The peppermint and woods is what really kicks off that pre-holiday feeling, getting you ready for Christmas.
This year’s label is completely different, right? This label is one of the reasons I bought this candle, and I was so glad that I did. It sounded incredible: Lavender Snowfall, and then looking at the label, I was sold. This year, the label looks a little different. It’s still okay, but I’m not sure I would have bought it.
Anyway, Lavender Snowfall is more of a winter calm, that peaceful hush, you know after everything outside starts to slow down in the winter. And in a few weeks, we’ll start hitting those temperatures and this is going to be a great candle to burn. I’ve only burned this a couple times since I’ve gotten it and I’m going to start burning it more. It makes you feel like you just want to curl up in that warm, fluffy blanket.
Farmhouse Lavender is more for the kitchen, while Lavender Snowfall is definitely more for like the living room, the family room, the foyer, whatever. It is that relaxed mood. It’s that mood right before you know it’s going to snow. You know, it’s kind of like when you know it’s going to rain—you can tell when it’s going to rain. You could tell, it just looks like it’s going to snow. This is when you want to light that candle, I’m telling you.
So there it is: Lavender Snowfall, Farmhouse Lavender. Both great scents. Be sure to come back and check out what I burned for the Halloween party, because a couple of those scents, I don’t think they’re going to work out, but we’ll see, we’ll see. Thanks for checking out the review. Let me know what you’re burning for Halloween in the comments, and stay comfy, stay cozy. I’ll see you next time.
